Updating skt theme on a live website.

I had reported the issue in the spa_theme about it being detected infected by antivirus (Bitdefender) and am informed that the themes are updated to remove the spurious file. I have asked for a procedure to update the theme manually and the precautions to take to the site doesn’t break. I followed up a few time in email and I haven’t got any answer. I need this as a due diligence before I make an attempt to update theme on WordPress. I haven’t heard back from support on this. I will appreciate a reply ASAP so I can complete this. Thank you.

Bitdefender removed the message saying the files were clean and cleared the confusion yet we also made the updates.

Have given you instructions via email.
